Hi, I'm Brenda Soto—a software engineer passionate about creating meaningful and user-focused web applications. I recently completed a year-long fellowship at Pursuit, where I honed my skills in full-stack development, working with technologies like JavaScript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. During my time at Pursuit, I led several team projects, including Global Agent, where I focused on building scalable, educational tools that were both engaging and accessible. Before transitioning into software development, I worked in the veterinary field, where I developed a strong foundation in problem-solving, leadership, and communication. My unique background allows me to bring a fresh perspective to software engineering, blending technical expertise with empathy and collaboration. I’m particularly interested in the intersection of technology and impactful user experiences, and I'm excited to continue building applications that make a difference. When I’m not coding, I enjoy exploring creative pursuits like fiber arts, staying curious, and embracing lifelong learning.
